Ingredients

  • Baguette bread: 1 medium-sized (cut into circles)
  • Unsalted butter: 75 grams (melted)
  • Garlic: 4-5 cloves (minced)
  • Parsley (or coriander leaves): 1 tbsp + 1 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded): 1 ½ – 2 cups
  • Red chili flakes: 1 tsp
  • Oregano: a pinch (optional)
  • Salt: a pinch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Grease a sheet pan with a little butter and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Brush the baguette circles on both sides with the garlic butter mixture and place them on the prepared sheet pan.
  4. Top each baguette circle with shredded mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle red chili flakes, oregano (if using), and the remaining 1 teaspoon of parsley over the cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and the baguette bread is crisp.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
